I've been working here (shall not disclose company name) for six months now . I must say that I'm very blessed here. I believe blessings flow wherever I go. Good environment, nice colleagues, supportive bosses, and of course, my lovely cosy and quiet room with a view. Well, unfortunately not the seaview but I'm still blessed with a view.Just last month, my bosses surprised me by giving me an early confirmation. According to them, it's rare for staff to get confirmed within six months. In addition, I received another surprise just weeks ago - pay increment! How much more can I ask God for? I didn't expect all these to come so soon.
I guess my hard work paid off. Some colleagues commented that I am aloof as I am always in front of the computer. But that's the nature of my work..handling media queries, unforeseen issues, etc, that is keeping me busy each day. I can't seem to find time to walk around and chat with anyone, except for my colleague Jaime whose cubicle resides just opposite mine. I usually just shout across to her if I need her advise on something.
Besides just being engrossed in my work all day, there has been some unhappy politics at work which indirectly affected me of late. I hope all these nonsense will end really soon.
